ALBUM UPDATE #9 — The band would now like to introduce Libby Ungs, our new piano and organ player. Libby played a couple shows with us back in the fall of 2011. She's been friends with David for a while, and we quickly found out she's always wanted to play piano with us. She's been a great addition to the band, and she is a very talented player, with a background in classical, blues, and jazz. Her first recording session with us was actually for the single "Made In The USA" where she got to join the clapping crew. Since then, she has played some fantastic organ and piano parts for the new album, Live Life Slow. She has a beautiful piano solo on the song Live Life Slow, and did some very unique piano parts for "I Will Rise For You" and "Confession." On top of that, she's learning the Super Mario Brothers theme song.

Santa Claus quit his job. We know, we know. You and your kids are crying like little babies, as are we. But we have some good news!
We've just released our new single "Made in the USA!" You can download a digital file from Bandcamp for $1, which includes a two-part interview with Starlite Radio and mixer Paul Redel about the recording and production of the song. And we've also thrown in the chord chart so you can play along! Santa Claus quitting ain't such bad news after all.
ALBUM UPDATE #5 — Many people have been asking how the new album is coming along. It has been quite a while since we’ve posted any updates. Almost five months ago to be exact! A lot has happened in those months. We prepared and played with a seven-piece band at Sinnissippi Park (Rockford, IL) in August. There was a fishing trip with my brothers and dad. Jessica made it up to Door County with family. Jordan and Jessica have been working on a recording project for a friend of ours. I spent several weeks creating my first online portfolio of my illustration work. And I’m sure I could name several others things that have occupied our time.
We also made the decision to take Made In The USA off the album and record it as a single. We thought we’d do a simple acoustic version, but it turned into something more. This made it more creatively exciting for us, but added a few more weekends to the pre-album project. We just wrapped up the mixing and mastering in early November, and plan to release it right before Christmas as a pre-album teaser.
With all of this going on, the video updates took a back seat. But today, as a Thanksgiving treat, we have a new video update for the whole family! So turn off the game and Christmas music, grab a second helping of pumpkin pie, and enjoy our new (five-month old) video update!
